Este trabalho trata sobre as relações entre a imprensa e as mídias sociais, com ênfase no Twitter. É a análise de quatro contas jornalísticas no microblog, todas do município de Uberlândia, MG, por meio de reflexões acerca do papel do jornalismo no mundo digital e suas relações. Foi realizado um monitoramento do comportamento da imprensa local em seus perfis na mídia social, no âmbito de projeto de iniciação científica

Abstract

This work deals with the relations between press and social media, with emphasis on Twitter. It is the analysis of four journalistic accounts in the microblog, all from the city of Uberlândia, MG, by reflections about journalism in the digital world and its relations. A monitoring of the behavior of the local press in its social media profiles was carried out, within the scope of scientific initiation project.
